One thing I tell people all the time — don’t let a good-looking house fool you.

Some of the nicest homes I inspect still have things going on that you’d never notice during a walkthrough. Roof issues, electrical problems, plumbing leaks, HVAC concerns, foundation movement… sometimes it’s the house you least expect.

If you’re buying a home, get it inspected. Even if it’s brand new.
