Do you want wait for MAYBE a low interest rate (with the possibly rates going up and you wait longer) and have to pay X amount more than the list price?
Or would you rather get the best of both worlds by locking in a rate right now and paying list price potentially less; and refinance once you see that lower rate you want?
At the end of the day you need to do what works best for you and your life. I want the best for YOU!! đĽ°
3 reasons why you SHOULD buy a home during the holidaysđ˛
1. The holidays are notoriously the âslow seasonâ for real estate. The reality is that there arenât as many buyers out & about, which means youâll most likely have less competition when putting in an offer. While majority of people are focused on getting ready for the holidays, you can be focused on investing in your future and getting that dream home purchased.
2. Sellers are, most times, more likely to negotiate during these months. Most people donât just put their home on the market to âsee what happensâ. More than likely, they need their home sold - and sold quickly. Every sellerâs situation is different, but these are the months where we see more negotiations occurring that are in ⨠favor â¨of the buyer.
3. Youâll see a realistic picture of the home. Many homes look 10x better with a fresh cut lawn and flowers blooming, than a house with 6 inches of snow on the driveway. Itâll give you a more realistic picture of what youâre working with in regards to plumbing and heat, too! Making sure big ticket items like those are working properly during the winter can be a huge cost savings down the line, and before you sign that dotted line.
While most would shy away from hunting for a house during the holidays, we encourage you to consider it! Thereâs never a âperfect timeâ to buy a home, just when it works for you. Sometimes that could mean the holidays!
