NEW LISTING in the works! Today's work commute was approximately 3 feet from camper bed to oceanfront office. Fresh air, crashing waves, and a view that makes it VERY difficult to pretend this is work. I'd say it's a tough job, but from this particular office... nobody would believe me! Stay tuned for a lovely pool home just a stone's throw from one of Riverside's most famous streets: Victoria Avenue!

****The official determination of the Eaton Fire's cause should be a WAKE-UP CALL for every Riverside resident and every elected official of the City of Riverside.****

Investigators concluded that the Eaton Fire was caused by electrical arcing from a Southern California Edison above-ground transmission tower. The result was catastrophic: 19 lives lost, thousands of homes and businesses destroyed, and an entire community forever changed.

As Riverside considers the proposed RTRP Project (Riverside Transmission Reliability Project), this finding cannot be ignored.
City leaders have a choice. They can approve more above-ground transmission towers running through our community, or they can insist on undergrounding this critical infrastructure wherever feasible to better protect our neighborhoods, parks, wildlife habitat, and residents.

Above-ground transmission lines are vulnerable to high winds, equipment failures, and increasingly extreme fire conditions. We have now seen the devastating consequences when those systems fail. If you live in the City of Riverside, or in La Sierra, or Norco, your home and renter's insurance will likely be affected, or worse -- unable to obtain insurance at all, if this project is placed above ground.

Riverside should not wait for a tragedy to prove what we already know: protecting lives and property must come before saving money on construction costs.

We urge the Riverside City Council and all decision-makers to stand up for our community and require the safest solution possible — PUT THE TRANSMISSION LINES UNDERGROUND. Let's learn from the Eaton Fire, not repeat it.

The 2025 fire, which killed 19 people and destroyed the Altadena community in Los Angeles County, began at an inactive tower belonging to Southern California Edison, officials said.

🇺🇸 30 years. Thousands of American flags. Countless Blessings. 🇺🇸

Every Fourth of July begins the same way for us...

The alarm goes off around 6:00 a.m. We load about 2,300 American flags into the car, drive to meet one another, gather with an incredible group of friends, and snap our annual photo—each of us proudly holding Old Glory before setting out through the neighborhood.

For the next few hours, we walk street after street, placing more than 2,300 American flags in front yards throughout our beloved Wood Streets neighborhood. It's become one of our favorite traditions over the past 30 years, and somehow it never gets old.

This tradition has never been about real estate. It's about community. It's about gratitude. It's about honoring our country and bringing a little extra patriotic spirit to the place we've been proud to call home for so many years.

As we walk, we're reminded of just how fortunate we are to live in this amazing neighborhood and country. We think of the brave men and women who have served—and continue to serve—to protect the freedoms which can be taken for granted. Their sacrifices are the reason we can celebrate this day with our families, friends, and neighbors.

To our wonderful volunteers (photo from 2025...stay tuned for this year's photo)—thank you for waking up early, walking a few miles, sharing plenty of laughs, and then joining us for our annual breakfast afterward. We couldn't do it without you, and we're so grateful for each of you.
