Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Because of their courage, we live in the land of the free.
We remember those who gave their lives, we honor those who have served, and we express our deepest gratitude to the heroes who continue to serve today. Your dedication, strength, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

“You can rebuild, and you don’t have to lose hope.”

Marine veteran Harvey Phillips shared his journey from housing instability and unemployment to regaining financial well-being through support at U.S.VETS Inland Empire.

Our career services team cheered him on recently as he graduated from his training program to become a driver for the Omnitrans transit agency in San Bernardino County.

“Thank God that U.S.VETS helped me," he said. "They helped me regain my self-esteem and my confidence, to be a person and live a normal life. You just have to reach out, and if you persevere you will get through it.”

Meet Russell, an Army Medic Veteran, walking with his loyal sidekick Chuck also known as Sergeant Major, the Doxie with an attitude who keeps everyone in line, and Joe, an Air Force lineman, rolling strong in the Roll portion of the course, proving that nothing, not even a prosthetic, stops purpose.
