Realtors really use words like ‘cozy’ and ‘full of character’ knowing full well this house is fighting for its life. But potential matters more than perfection sometimes.

A lot of buyers overlook homes that need cosmetic updates when those homes can actually offer better value, better neighborhoods, or more long-term opportunity. You just have to know the difference between “needs a little work” and “this house may actually collapse emotionally.
