I obviously had to…. Real estate, ripped jeans, cowboy boots, a glass of wine… and Prince right in the middle of everything like he pays the mortgage.

Which feels less like creativity and more like a personal attack because apparently we’re both slightly chaotic, overly involved in everyone’s business, and convinced we should be included in everything.

You don’t need to know exactly how much house you can afford.

You don’t need to understand every step between pre-approval and closing.

You definitely don’t need to spend three weeks Googling “what is earnest money” before you’re allowed to talk to someone.

That’s kind of the point of having a Realtor.

You can come to me with the questions you think are obvious, the questions you’re slightly embarrassed to ask, and the questions that start with, “Okay, this might be stupid, but…”

You don’t have to become a real estate expert before buying a house.

You just need someone who will explain what matters, tell you what comes next, and keep you from unnecessarily spiraling along the way.

Conveniently, I know a person.
