Roanoke CNC machinists—want actual freedom? 🔧We're hiring an experienced CNC machinist (lathe operator), and we're not looking for button-pushers.Freedom means: Start between 6am–8:30am (your choice). Take 2 hours for an emergency, come back when you can. Work's done Thursday? Leave early Friday. Kid's sick? Go. No permission slip required.We want someone who can read a print, write their own code, do their own setups, and solve problems without needing their hand held. Best part? WE WILL TRAIN YOU IF YOU ARE WILLING TO LEARN! You'll do your own setups, programming (FeatureCam), troubleshooting. Training provided. If you want autonomy, not assembly-line button-pushing, this is your shop.What you need:🔹 2+ years CNC experience (lathe or mill—we'll train you on our machines)🔹 Blueprint reading (GD&T, tolerances)🔹 G-code knowledge (you've edited code at the machine)🔹 Discipline to handle freedom (no babysitting, but work gets done)Bonus points for:🔸 FeatureCam, MasterCAM, or CAM software🔸 Welding (especially TIG—only 2 of us weld)🔸 4-axis or live tooling experience🔸 Manual lathe/mill backgroundYou're NOT a fit if:🚫 You've only pushed buttons on pre-programmed production runs🚫 You need constant supervision or structure🚫 You've had 6+ jobs in last 2 years🚫 You hide mistakes instead of owning themWithin 30 miles of Roanoke and want a shop where people stay 30 years instead of 6 months?
