If you would have told 7 year old me I’d sell this house one day there wouldn’t have been a chance I’d believe you.
So many Christmas mornings here. So much wallpaper removed. Britney Spears blasting through a boombox. A castle room. So many football passes thrown. Dad’s surprise 60th bday party. A safe haven. 27 chapters of North Oakwood.
The snowball fight mid shoveling and our friends helping with the move was the perfect ending. My parents have closed this book but are starting a new one and I am so excited for them. 🥳

As temperatures drop, we have some safety tips for you to make sure your home stays warm AND safe!

1. Keep anything that can burn at least 3 feet away from heating equipment furnaces, space heaters, stoves or wood stoves.

2. Plug space heaters directly into the wall, not an extension cord or power strip.

3. Never leave a space heater or fireplace unattended. Turn them off when you leave the room or go to sleep.

4. Never use your oven to heat your home.

5.Have your furnace, chimney and vent cleaned and inspected each year by a qualified professional.

6. Test your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to make sure they're working properly.

My friends (clients) are loving their new little haven and having so much fun exploring, creating, and as they say “nesting” 🫶🏼
They’ve learned they have an abundance of wildlife, neighbors that remind them of themselves, heard wild stories of the home’s history, and a new found hate for bamboo roots 😂
They’ve already made so many improvements and have plans of a chicken coop, observation deck, and even an airbnb later on.
I’m so grateful they let me join them on this journey and can’t wait to see all the magic they create here!
