Rock bottom hunting club 2300 acre Trophy managed hunting club in Crawford and Taylor counties. They searched land all across Georgia to find the perfect property.

Robby and James Cross (pictured below) started Rock Bottom Hunting Club in 2010 with a vision of creating a QDMA club. Property that would have major benefits yet be easy to get to for all members. Today Rock Bottom QDMA Properties reside in beautiful Crawford and Taylor counties. These properties are growing and becoming family oriented by providing families of members, campgrounds, learning grou

nds for up and coming hunters and trophy hunters a chance at massive bucks. These properties benefit hunters in the south by giving them a TRUE TROPHY BUCK EXPERIENCE! Today Robby and James manage Rock Bottom Hunting Club. A club that has produced over 1,000 inches of antler since 2010 and continues to grow! We are a group of "easy going" individuals who enjoy hunting, fishing and the outdoors in general. Our primary interest is deer hunting, but we've been known to do turkey, duck and coyote hunting as well. Exaggerated stories at the campfire are normal at night and we encourage a "family environment" campsite. Besides quality deer and turkey hunting, it's a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of "city life".

This is the jawbone of a whitetail doe killed on Tuckahoe WMA in Georgia in fall 2021 by Kyle Sutton. This is extreme tooth wear, well beyond the point of assigning an age with any accuracy using the tooth-wear method. Some of the molars are so worn, the two crests have been flattened into a single, smooth dish. We would classify this deer as “5½-plus,” but Kyle also sent an incisor tooth to Matson’s Lab for cementum annuli (age ring) analysis under a microscope, which is accurate for deer beyond 3½ years of age. Just for fun, guess what age Matson’s Lab reported for this public-land doe. We’ll post the answer later.

Congratulations to Johnny Jackson on a beast of a buck. Johnny had the pleasure of taking Rock Bottom Hunting Clubs largest buck to date. This buck was known as “The Long Main Beam Buck”. We have pictures of him going back to 2016. He is believed to be a minimum of 5.5 years old.
