1. Rent a boat, jet ski, or pontoon and explore the water
2. Paddleboard, kayak, or canoe through peaceful coves
3. Swim at the SML State Park beach (lifeguards & gear rentals available)
4. Hit the hiking or biking trails at SML State Park or Peaks of Otter
5. Cast a line—fishing is huge here, from the dock or a boat
6. Take a sightseeing cruise on the Virginia Dare
7. Join a free ranger-led wildlife or craft program at the State Park
8. Check out a local event like Pirate Days, Wine Festival, or Chili Fest
9. Play mini-golf and grab ice cream at Bridgewater Plaza
10. Catch a movie at Westlake Cinema (great on rainy days)
11. Visit the dam overlook or historic Booker T. Washington sites
12. Tee off at one of the four local golf courses
13. Shop, dine, and people-watch at Bridgewater Plaza
