Grateful for the opportunity to attend Law Enforcement Drone Association (LEDA) North Carolina’s sUAS Public Safety Training Day alongside partners from across the region.
The day focused on best practices in real-world public safety applications, including surveillance operations, indoor drone deployments, NIST bucket-based training scenarios, and mapping and modeling. Each of these capabilities plays a critical role in strengthening situational awareness, improving decision-making, and supporting safer, more efficient operations during emergencies and planned events.
Training like this is essential as drone technology continues to evolve and becomes more integrated into emergency management and public safety response. Strong instruction, strong partnerships, and a strong turnout made this a valuable day of learning.
