Most people going into a real estate transaction already know the basics.

But there are a few that catch people off guard...

Opening a new credit card or furnishing your new living room before closing can actually flag your loan and put the whole deal at risk.

A job change, even a good one, can do the same thing.

And going in with a low offer "just to see" often just signals to the seller that you're not serious.

This is exactly the kind of homebuying experience I hope every client gets to have. ❤️

It started with a referral from someone who has always been one of my biggest supporters. I always feel honored when someone introduces me to a friend, family member, or coworker who is thinking about buying a home. It means they trust me to take good care of someone they care about, and that means a lot to me.

That’s how we met.

One of my favorite things in real estate is when a client picks the very first home I show them. Not because it’s easier for me, but because it tells me I got it right. It means I listened. It means I understood what they were looking for, what they needed, and what would make them happy.

Mariah chose the very first home we saw.

And then everything else just fell into place.

We had a builder who was amazing to work with, great incentives, beautiful upgrades, and a team that genuinely cared about the buyer experience. On closing day there were flowers, gifts, and so many thoughtful touches that made the day feel extra special. Thank you to the whole team!

Those little things matter.

A house is a house, but the experience people have getting there is what they remember.

Seeing Mariah, Maci, and the whole family pitching in to help with the move reminded me why I love what I do. A home isn’t really about walls or square footage. It’s about the life that happens inside it. The family dinners, celebrations, quiet moments, and memories that are still waiting to be made.

Some people need time before they’re ready to buy a home… and that’s okay 🤍

When one of my clients was buying her home, she kept telling her roommate and her daughter to come with her to my seminar/presentation “just to listen.” 😂

But every time?
“She’s not ready yet.”
Honestly, she avoided me so well I barely even got to really meet her 🤣

Then one day, out of nowhere, I got a Facebook message:

“It’s time. I’m ready to buy a house.”

And from that moment, everything moved FAST. ✨

We scheduled the consultation, started touring homes, and the showing day was actually cut short because the moment she walked into THIS … she already knew. 🏡

My clients originally moved to the U.S. for work and started out in another state, but after a few months, they realized they wanted to be closer to family here in Temple. And from day one, she already knew exactly what she wanted: a home just like her brother’s.

So we started the building process… until the builder told us something unexpected 👀

Their Parade of Homes showcase home was available for purchase.

And not just any home.

✨ Extended kitchen cabinetry
✨ Custom feature wall
