Most people would look at this basement wall and think that there was nothing wrong. That’s why you hire Rockwood Home Inpsections LLC to do a home inspection. This home had 2 sump pits and both were full of water which seemed very curious. After checking the motor between the bricks it was evident the motor was saturated with water and water was coming through the walls into the basement. When buying a home, having the foundation and floor framing system evaluated thoroughly is critical. Here is a picture of a home that was inpsected by Rockwood Home Inspections LLC. There was an attempt to correct this floor that started to sag. There was a post that was missing under a support beam that had been put in to correct the sagging floor. Structurally this is a major concern. Here is a picture of an exhaust vent for a furnace. As you can see it’s not connected to vent going to the exterior and the exhaust is coming directly in the home. This could be extremely dangerous because the exhaust fumes have C02 which can be lethal.
