Thank you to WNC Business for the feature on MackinGo and other coworking offices throughout WNC.

At MackinGo our professionals constantly interact as if they are coworkers. They talk both business and personal life and we all look forward to coming into the office on Monday and learning about everyone’s weekend.

Coworking spaces are a fairly new concept in more rural areas, but they are needed in small towns just as much as in big cities. Especially after the pandemic and rise in number of remite workers.

Our very own Leniece Lane was featured in the article talking about our space in Rutherfordton, NC and it’s importance for our community.

Rutherford Town Rising is dedicated to keeping downtown Rutherfordton vibrant, welcoming, and full of life. But to do that well, we need your input.

Below is a link to our community survey. This is your chance to help shape the future of our downtown district. We want to better understand what brings you here, whether it's shopping, dining, events, or just a walk through town, and why you choose our downtown over others.

Did you know that MackinGo is owned by an Irish Investor?

He saw our small town and fell in love and wanted to help bring urban amenities to residents of Rutherfordton. We are thankful he did.

We have power! We had some water leak through from overflow coming down hill so we are drying things out today. If you need a place to work this week message us if there is room you are welcome in our open desk spaces. It’s the least we can try and do for those that have lost so much and may not have power for weeks. There are bathrooms, internet (hopefully by tomorrow), AC, coffee and ice. We also have a patio area. Let us know if you need help. Facebook is probably most consistent way to reach us.

The office is okay. Some flooding due to the excessive water flow down the street but we are keeping an eye on things. There is no power and we encourage everyone to stay home and stay safe. Let emergency personnel work and help repair the damage. We will provide updates as they become available.
