Tucked away in the heart of Lincoln is one of my favorite go-to spots, The vibe is energetic, yet still warm and inviting — the kind of place that instantly feels like community.

Joe has clearly poured his heart and soul into this little Lincoln treasure, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. The music was incredible - thank you , amazing energy, and one of my favorite parts of living in Lincoln… randomly running into neighbors and friends while enjoying a good night out. Those small-town moments never get old.

Today members of my legislative and communications team had the honor of joining the (Em)power + Resilience Project at the State Capitol for the Second Annual Statewide Survivor Advocacy Day.

This incredible peer-to-peer network, supported by the Placer County District Attorney's office, is truly filling the gap in survivor support. Through its three arms, Grief, Advocacy, and Process, E+R is creating space for survivors to heal in the way they need, connect with others who understand, access resources, trainings, and opportunities to drive real change.

This organization advocates for stronger fentanyl and DUI accountability, better mental health diversion, CDCR transparency, victim rights, smarter parole policies, and so much more.

Our team enjoyed the opportunity to talk a bit also about the nature of representing our rural district. It was also great to meet some of our constituents personally! A special thank you to .b.freedman of the Placer County DA's office for including our office on this impactful day. Your work

Women’s Council of REALTORS® truly shines because of the incredible relationships built between our members and strategic partners. Yesterday’s appreciation luncheon was such a meaningful reminder that collaboration, support, and shared leadership are what help our network continue to grow and thrive here in Placer County.

A huge thank you to our President-Elect, Geanne, for putting together such a thoughtful and welcoming event. Your hard work, heart for people, and dedication to building community do not go unnoticed. We are so grateful for the strategic partners who continue to invest in our mission and walk alongside us as we grow together.

It was a room full of amazing community partners who truly care about our seniors. So many familiar faces, great conversations, and new connections — all working toward the same goal: supporting community.

Grateful to be surrounded by people who show up, build relationships, and make a difference every day. That’s what real community looks like 💪

There is something powerful about standing shoulder to shoulder with women who believe in building wealth, creating opportunity, and leaving a legacy that lasts beyond us. Together, we grow stronger — not just in business, but in purpose.
