Please help us require Fannie and Freddie to purchase loans where the homeowners
used the deferment or forebearance program. Right now, they came out with a band
aid that charges us 5 to 7 points on any paper delivered where the homeowner
defers payments. This is constricting the buyer market and worsening prices and
programs. It's also just a really poorly formed response that ties our hands when we should
be helping the general public with their economic fallout from COVID 19.
