Last, but definitely not least, Glacier National Park. A short 5-hr drive 😉 from Lake Louise through very pretty Canadian countryside. We met our friends from Bozeman there (also a 5-hr drive from Bozeman). We stayed in Apgar in the cutest little log cabin on Lake Macdonald. We weren’t able to do all the likes we wanted, but Avalanche Lake was 💯. We hiked, paddled, spent an afternoon in Whitefish, and had a blast hanging out and playing games. The drive back to Calgary to fly home resulted in a missed flight due to our rental car breaking down in the middle of nowhere. We made it back the next day. Overall an awesome time. So grateful we were able to show the girls this part of the world. ❤️

Jasper ❤️. We stayed at the sweetest spot, Patricia Lake Bungalows, where we played games, paddle boarded, hiked, and fished (well, one of us did). The town had a huge fire last year, but their resiliency is incredible. Maligne lake by boat to Spirit Island was a highlight for me. Go to Jasper!

The Icefields Parkway drive from Banff to Jasper is spectacular. Best part, if you drive to Jasper, then you are most likely driving back to Banff afterwards. So many beautiful glaciers, glacial lakes, etc.

Summer vacation was a blast, visiting three national parks - Banff and Jasper in Canada and Glacier in the US. Our first stop was the town of Banff. This is Johnston Canyon. It was slightly overcast this day, but this is a must visit. Definitely go early!

First day in Drake Bay was rainy, but oh so beautiful! We stayed in a hotel that was only three rooms and had local ladies making authentic Costa Rican cuisine for us. ❤️ They made us feel like family. ❤️

From La Fortuna to San Jose (they cancelled our evening flight because they were delayed and the airport we were flying to has no lights on the runway). One night in San Jose and early flight to Osa Peninsula and Drake Bay. I was scared to fly in a small plane. It was no big deal. And Osa is my favorite of the trip. A lot more to come about it and a huge thanks to for the recommend. We would not have seen it otherwise.

Canyoning in La Fortuna. I thought it would be small waterfalls, it was not. I also never thought I would run off the edge of a platform to repel down. Trying a lot of new things here and loving every moment!
