When I went through cancer my family was chosen to attend this camp. If you are stuck with who you may want to give to today, the Me-One Foundation is a place for adult cancer patients to attend with their family/care givers and they are accepting both applications as well as donations to help adults survivors of cancer get a much needed break,,,whether you donate or nominate...reach out to me if you would like to know more.

I am Celebrating 5 Years with no evidence of breast cancer!!!

👚Breast Cancer Signs and Symptoms:

👚Swelling of all or part of a breast (even if no distinct lump is felt)
👚Skin irritation or dimpling (sometimes looking like an orange peel)
👚Breast or ni**le pain.
👚Nipple retraction (turning inward)
👚Redness, scaliness, or thickening of the ni**le or breast skin.
👚Nipple discharge (other than breast milk)

When breast cancer is detected early, and is in the localized stage, the 5-year relative survival rate is 100%. Early detection includes doing monthly breast self-exams, and scheduling regular clinical breast exams and mammograms.

Hello My Facebook Friends... I don't know if you know how time flies but it has been almost 3 years since I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This fight continues. I have three sisters in breast cancer that in the last that in the last two years of this "race" have had recurrence..and two FB sisters that have been diagnosed with breast cancer for the first time...all of us continue to fight...Although treatment is manageable, there is still no cure. I am asking for your support on the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this May 7th, 2016.
