Every real estate transaction starts as a romantic comedy.

Then the inspection report arrives, the appraisal comes in low, or somebody sends an email that begins with “Unfortunately…” 😂

That’s when the job gets real.

When a deal hits turbulence, I’m not going to panic with you, disappear, or forward you a problem with no explanation.

I’m going to slow it down, figure out what actually matters, explain your options in normal-person language, and help you make the next smart move.

Sometimes we negotiate. Sometimes we bring in the right professional. Sometimes we adjust the strategy. And sometimes my honest advice is that protecting you matters more than forcing the deal to work.

My job is to make sure love isn’t blind. 😂🏡

Because once you’ve mentally placed your couch, hosted Thanksgiving, and picked which room is “the office,” it’s hard to notice the questionable roof and wildly optimistic price tag.

That’s where I come in.

I’m looking at the comps, reading the disclosures, asking uncomfortable questions, recommending thorough inspectors, negotiating the terms that matter, and keeping the deal together when it starts to wobble.

And if I believe a home isn’t right for you? I’ll tell you—even if it means we keep looking and I do more work.

I assign myself homework. 😂📚

Before we ever step inside, I’m checking the listing history, comparable sales, disclosures that may already be available, how long the home has been sitting, and anything the photos seem to be politely avoiding.

I’m also calling the listing agent to learn what matters to the seller—because sometimes price is only one piece of the puzzle.

Then I give you my honest read: what excites me, what concerns me, and what we should pay attention to during the tour.

Will you still have decisions to make? Absolutely. But you won’t be walking in armed with nothing but heart-eyes and a Zillow description. 😂
