As we shift our focus to building a community of responsible fi****ms owners, our ITF Community page will be getting a facelift and rebrand. It is now called ITF Community, and this will be where we allow for open discussion, share knowledge and discuss our new plan for 2027!

The ITF Community will be holding monthly get togethers, pairing free meet and greet time where we'll have focused content, followed by paid hands on training. Currently we have a few options to host events, none of which are free. This is why the paid content is important, as it'll help ofset those costs.

As of right now, I'm looking to focus on 4 areas in 2027, all of the details, dates, times and locations will be put out through the ITF Community page. You should click the ITF Community and follow it now, and as it evolves into the ITF Community, you won't be kept out of the loop!

This is looking to be a great year for people to come together, share knowledge and make new friends! Since fi****ms owners come from all socioeconomic, political and cultural backgrounds- this will be a place for all to feel comfortable. There will be no topics related to any of the above issues, so we can all focus on what's important, being responsible fi****ms owners, and getting to know others who share this value.

We're building something new in the Northland.

After more than 6 years as a fi****ms instructor, I've learned that good training is only part of the equation.

People also need a place where they can ask questions, learn about firearm safety, meet responsible people, and build relationships within their community.

So we're starting one.

In the hear future, ITF will be hosting "Northland Safety & Community Night"

This isn't about how much experience you have. You don't need to be an expert, and you don't need to own a firearm to attend.

It's about safety, education, responsibility, preparedness, and community.

We'll have a short safety/education presentation, an open Q&A, and plenty of time to meet other people from the area.

If you've been looking for a local community where you can learn, ask questions, and meet people who take responsible firearm ownership seriously, come be part of the beginning.

We're looking for the first group of people who want to help build this community with us.

Sometimes work doesn't look like work, and often its the auxiliary work details that make the finished product even better.

This may not look like i'm doing work on my range, but in fact, that's exactly what i'm doing! You may not see the target stands, where the walls being built, but this drantile is what's going to keep my range from flooding in the spring. For those of you who've been here in the wet season, you know what i'm talking about. For all those yet to come, i'm sure you'll appreciate the work i'm doing for you... Even if it is home improvement, it's also range improvement!

The following news article is about a custody exchange, ending in death. Someone in mental decline, under extreme duress, took lives.

THIS is preventable, with advances in mental health assistance, this father would never put himself, his child, the child's mother, or anyone else in harms way. Now each of these people lives with the results of the deceased man's actions.

Have good situational awareness. Check in on your friends and loved ones. Are they struggling? Offer them a direction for help, is just one of many great resources. Call 911 and have them do a welfare check on your friend before it's too late. Do something.

For the last few years, many of you have stayed engaged with me and ITF, and I truly appreciate it. Now I want to take that a step further by building ITF Community—a place where responsible firearm owners from all walks of life can connect, learn, and build stronger relationships.

We may not agree on everything, and that's okay. What we can agree on is that firearm safety and responsible ownership matter. ITF Community will not be political. My goal is to bring people together, get to know our neighbors, and build a stronger community.
