Hey there. We know you're tired. The last few days have been a lot.

Homes and businesses have been damaged. Hundreds of thousands of our neighbors have lost power. Families have scrambled for gas, generators, food, ice and somewhere cool to spend a few hours, and for many across the Region, the lights still aren't back on.

We've also seen Northwest Indiana do what Northwest Indiana does.

Neighbors checking on neighbors. Communities sharing resources. Businesses opening their doors to help. First responders, public works teams, tree crews and utility workers putting in incredibly long hours to get our communities moving again.

To the crews and everyone who has come from near and far to help restore power: thank you. To everyone still waiting: We see you.

NIRA's members don't only sell homes in Northwest Indiana. We live here. We raise our families here. These are our neighborhoods, too.

There's still a lot of cleanup ahead. There are still people who need help. So, check on your neighbors. Help where you can. Give the crews room to work safely. Take care of each other.

We'll get through this together.
