Board and batten was installed on the exterior of 131 South Springfield today. We love seeing these old storefronts with facelifts and new businesses!

We try to save anything existing or original when we can, but after multiple attempts, we just weren’t able to repair the wood floor enough. But we think this new flooring looks pretty sharp!

A lot of work is going in to giving this shared hallway a facelift! Floor boards are being replaced and then the walls and ceiling will be repaired and given a fresh look.

You may have visited this building when it was A&T Auto Parts or Uptown Hair Design. It has potential for both residential and commercial space.

There are many plans for this building this year, starting in April. The upstairs will be an apartment, with tall ceilings and original trim. The floors are original and will be preserved as well. We will post pictures with updates as they occur, including before and after photos!
