The smell test is real. Buyers read a strong air freshener as "what are they covering up?" A deep clean can work wonders.
Run the AC, change the filters, skip the heavy plug-ins.

Is virtual staging dishonest? Not when it's disclosed. It's a great tool for vacant homes marketed to out-of-state buyers — as long as the furniture is labeled virtual and you're never hiding a flaw. Show potential, don't fake reality.

Is virtual staging the best option? Virtual staging is great for generating clicks and booking showings—but it can backfire when buyers walk into an empty, echoing house. When it comes to making a lasting impression, nothing replaces real home staging.
