Okayyyyy Brabant update #2 🔥

The Brabant is showing off again… this time it’s the MASTER SHOWER 😍

We absolutely scored when we met Cody Daniels — our tile guy and a true artist. I had a vision when I started designing and picking out this tile… and somehow he made it even better than what I pictured in my head.

The lines. The layout. The precision. Every detail is flawless. You can see the pride in every cut and corner.

What makes it even more powerful? This man almost lost his life just weeks ago… and he still showed up and SHOWED OUT.

That’s not just talent — that’s grit and heart.

Cody, we’re so grateful you’re on the mend and beyond blessed to have you on our Fortified team.

We don’t just build homes.
We build them with warriors. 💪🏼

BRABANT UPDATE (one of the last ones) ❤️🏡
Brabant update… and this one is hard to even put into words.

Today the countertops went in, and I found myself sitting there fighting back tears.

Months ago this was nothing but vacant ground. Just dirt. Just a vision. Just faith and a set of plans. And now… it stands as one of the most breathtaking homes I have ever laid eyes on — and I walk through homes for a living.

But what stopped me in my tracks today was the craftsmanship.

R&S Woodworking & Custom Furniture — Ryan Sylvester and Adam Monroe — what you created inside this home is beyond beautiful. The cabinets. The detail work. The way every line flows. And now these countertops… handcrafted, intentional, flawless.

You didn’t just “build cabinets.”
You poured yourselves into this home.

I watched Ryan and Adam carefully set each piece into place and it hit me all at once — a family will gather around these counters. Kids will do homework here. Holidays will be celebrated here. Life will unfold right here on the surfaces you shaped with your hands.

The love, care, and precision you both bring to your craft is rare. It far exceeded what we envisioned, and that says a lot.

As builders, we can draw the plans and clear the land… but it’s our vendors — the true craftsmen — who bring soul into the structure. And R&S absolutely did that for the Brabant.

Ryan. Adam. You are wildly talented. We are proud, grateful, and honestly emotional over what you’ve created here.

This home is special because of people like you. 🤎

Haflinger Update 🐎

The guys have been absolutely kicking butt on the Haflinger and watching this one come together has been something special. Windows are in, siding is going up, and the roof is locking this beauty in every day it looks more and more like the forever home it was meant to be.

This build is extra special to us. Not just because it’s another custom Fortified home, but because every detail reflects the care, craftsmanship, and heart our team pours into what we do.

Stay tuned… this one is going to be a showstopper.

Happy Sunday, Fortified friends and family!!
We spent the weekend playing at the Brabant house and it was a GOOD one. Kitchen backsplash is in, railings are officially going up (huge shoutout to Jesse Wilson absolutely crushing it), fireplace got a little touch-up… and because why not, we decided to throw a fireplace into the master suite too 😍
Oh and we couldn’t help ourselves, so we threw a little dazzle into the laundry room as well ✨
Things just keep getting better and better around here. What an amazing way to spend the weekend this house is really starting to show off 👏🔥

Shire House Update 🤍

Final touches are officially underway and this beautiful home is just days away from the finish line. Septic is going in, floors are about to be polished and finished, cleaning is scheduled, and all the little details are coming together.

We are so proud of this one—our baby is almost ready to welcome its forever family home. 🏡
Stay tuned… the end is so close and it’s going to be worth the wait ✨

And the guys (Chad, Merle, and Luke) are getting super creative on the stairs with a little help from the incredibly talented Jesse Wilson. It truly takes a small village, and we are so lucky to have this amazing team bringing the Brabant to life. 🖤
