Buy the one that actually fits your life. 🐄🏡

The giant kitchen is great.
The gorgeous bathroom is great.
The Pinterest-worthy backyard is great.

But if the commute makes you miserable, the payment makes you nervous, or the layout doesn't work for your family…

Pretty doesn't fix practical.

Find the right fit. ❤️

There are a lot of reasons people love Oregon.

Trees. Mountains. Farms. Small towns. Big skies. And occasionally questioning your life choices when the weather changes 14 times before lunch. 😂

I love helping people find the place that feels like home, not just an address.

And yes… I will probably ask you what you want to be close to besides the grocery store. 😉

Because where you live matters just as much as what you live in.

Check the neighborhood.

Drive through at different times of day.
Listen for traffic.
See how many Garages are open.
Wheres the closest Starbucks?
Check the commute.
Look at nearby properties.
Think about where you actually spend your time.

Because a house can be perfect… and still be the wrong house for you.

Inspection — That magical time when everyone discovers the house has opinions. 🧐

Appraisal — When a stranger gets to decide whether the house is worth what everyone thought it was worth.

Contingency — A fancy real estate word for “Hang on, we're not done yet.”

Closing — The part where you sign approximately 4,827 pieces of paper and somehow end up with a house.

Not every red flag means “RUN!” But some are definitely worth asking questions about.

Things I’d pay attention to:
🏠 Fresh paint covering one suspiciously specific area
💧 Water stains or musty smells
🔌 Lots of extension cords
🌳 Trees that look a little too cozy with the roof
🛠️ DIY repairs that make you say, “Well… that’s creative.”

A good Realtor® isn’t there to scare you away from a house. They’re there to help you figure out what questions need asking.
