The White House on Monday issued guidance to boost the use of U.S.-made goods including steel, iron and other construction materials, in government-funded infrastructure projects. The "Buy America" binding guidance, first proposed in February, was finalized by the White House Office of Management an...

Realistically speaking, we can expect the cost to borrow money to remain high. One of the many consequences of the baby boomers retiring this decade will be increasing cost of capital. Why? Because when you retire, you take your money out of stocks and bonds and put them into t-bills and cash. Meaning that the boomers are retiring, and their taking their money with them. Meaning that the cost to borrow money has no where to go but up because there's less of it.

Get yourself some green, too.

This was always inevitable. Mexico has always been our largest trading partner and that is set to double over the next decade. Why? Mexican labor is now a third the cost of Chinese labor and is more highly skilled. With the collapse of globalization and with China having fallen into a cult of personality with one person making all the decisions, this is a good move. Businesses are discovering cheaper labor with shorter more resilient supply chains. This will be Mexicos greatest industrialization period.

Does this mark a shift away from lower prices to a more complex dynamic?

Here's the bottom line..we can expect inflation to be around for at least the next 5 to 10 years. Why? We are in the process of doubling the size of our industrial footprint due to the coming collapse of the German manufacturing model over the next 2 years and the Chinese model over the next ten. However...this is a good thing because when we come out of this, we will have shorter, more resilient supply chains, closer to home, closer to the end consumer and less effected by global volitility. But first..we will have to go through this period of high inflation..we can do this.

Mexico just took the top spot as America's biggest trade partner as US-China relations continue to sour.

With the breakdown of globalization, it's good to see we have seen the writing on the wall. If your looking to sell your property, this is great news for you...stay tuned for more.

Trade between the US and Mexico reached $263 billion during the 4 months of 2023 — passing the value of goods flowing between America and China.
