Laura Escobar, the president of Lennar Mortgage LEN pointed to zoning rules that make it difficult to build more housing in many parts of the country. About 75% of residential land in the U.S. is zoned for single-family homes, she said. Government regulations add nearly $94,000 on average to the price of a new home, according to a 2021 study from the National Association of Home Builders.

I know the craftsmanship and attention to detail in SA is non existent but this is just ridiculous. How can you go home at the end of the day and tell yourself you earned that paycheck???? This was a new build that was "ready"........

I hear all the time "it's a new build, we don't need an inspection"..... here are two pics why you do. The customer was told this house was ready, I guess they saved a few bucks by not putting in ANY insulation!!!!
