She was a force to be reckoned with and she loved hard. This was Christin E. Kardos (Jones) a.k.a. Tink. She was not only my wife and mother to her children but as any of the hundreds of friends will tell you, she didn’t have a mean bone in her body and went above and beyond for everyone she met. She did not judge or look down her nose at anyone. She believed in karma so she loved hard. She had high morales, was a Patriot, could not stand a thief and used words like integrity, honor, loyalty, leadership, pride and honor. This was our Tink and she was ripped from all us early in January of 2021, while taking an afternoon nap. She passed from a condition that none of us, to include her, knew she had. Thankfully she went peacefully in her sleep that Saturday afternoon. The big man always takes the best ones first and that he did when he took this magnificent women we called Tink. As you can imagine shock our family and businesses to the core. In an effort to heal and keep my family close, I decided to form a new company named Tink Inc. in honor of this woman we loved so much. This company is owned and operated by myself, my son and our daughter. With over 30 years in the construction industry both in the military and outside the military our knowledge base is extensive. Some of these are: ground-up builds in both commercial and residential, remodeling, project management, property maintenance and management, handyman and emergency services, real estate investments and finally, general consulting. Additionally we have other companies in the automotive and trucking industries. Tink Inc is a family and military owned and operated company. “Come see what integrity looks like!”

One of the biggest challenges of a remodeling company is to nail down exactly what the client is envisioning in their head. We would dare say that at-least 25% of the time we spend on any given project is spent going back and forth with the client about what they are expecting the finish product to look like. Doing research, pricing certain materials, and finding various pictures of what we think they want and sending them to the client for their thoughts, really help with this process. Additionally, when needed or requested, we will do a rendering of the area in question to help them visualize what the room will look like when it is complete. This is only one way we control expectations, minimize change orders, and ensure client satisfaction. Do not let your contractor push you towards the products they can get the cheapest or the product or element of the job that is easiest and cheapest for them.
