It might look perfectly fine from the outside, but a quick look underneath could reveal a slow leak, water stains, moisture, or even damage to the cabinet.

We've had plenty of rain over the last two days, and this flue was left uncapped. An opening like this can allow rainwater to enter where it shouldn't. It's one of those details that can easily be overlooked, but it needs to be addressed before more water gets in.

I’m pretty sure this isn’t supposed to look this way. Trusses are part of the roof’s support system, so seeing one that’s visibly crooked and twisting is something I’m going to investigate. I can’t confirm everything from this view, but it definitely doesn’t look right.
