At the gym today, I witnessed an elderly man go through a stroke or seizure at a distance. He immediately was surrounded by gym employees. Needless to say I was a bit shocked/scared. I couldn't do anything except send him good vibes and well wishes. Then it dawned on me to say several times "In Jesus's name he's ok" while the front desk clerk called 911. She and I were both upset that it took them 1.5 minutes to tend to her phone call when in situations like this every nanosecond counts. Luckily he recovered and sat up shortly there after.
As I headed to the ladies locker room I over heard one lady conversing with another over a different topic and saying out loud, "Thank you Jesus."
I don't consider myself religious, but I'll take that as a sign and a reminder that there is power in Jesus.
