I started this journey at 315+ lbs, newly diagnosed with PCOS and completely unaware of how much life was about to change. Today, I’m 229 lbs. 🥹 But this story has never been just about the number on the scale.
Over the last 10 years, I’ve experienced weight fluctuations, hardships, heartbreak, loss, and seasons where I wondered if I’d ever get to the other side. I used to be so frustrated that my weight loss was taking too long. I wanted the transformation to happen overnight.
Now I look back and realize. God was never rushing me. He was building me. 🙏🏼 I’m proud that I’ve kept off the majority of the weight, but even more proud that I never completely gave up on myself.
Somewhere along the way, I found something I wasn’t expecting…
I found my femininity. 🌸
I feel more feminine, confident, soft, strong, and comfortable in the woman I am today than I ever have before.
This isn’t just a before-and-after.
It’s 10 years of becoming. I’m no longer upset that it took so long. I’m grateful I never stopped!!!
