Mindset... You can find a way to have fun and be happy.... OR you can complain and be miserable!

I am delayed in Charlotte due to weather, so I working on my health-getting in my 45 minute walk, working on my mindset-being thankful for Everything AND working on my Spanish, because in less than 100 days I am going to Costa Rica with 40 other High Velocity people and taking my life to the Next Level!!!

And here is my Spanish phrase I am working on today!

It's raining like cats and dogs here.

While "lloviendo a cántaros" is the most common way to express heavy rain in Spanish, if you want to translate the phrase "raining like cats and dogs" more literally, you could say:

"¡Está lloviendo como gatos y perros aquí!"

However, this literal translation might sound unusual to native speakers, as it's not a common expression in Spanish. "Lloviendo a cántaros" is the preferred idiomatic expression.
