📚 What im studying right now in class…. Rates Rates and more rates 😅
Some of clip notes 📝:
80s they said was the craziest decade in rates…
90s was stable
05,06,07,09 runaway sales
No income No asset loans - loans based on what was said 🥴
08-09 lots of foreclosures…
2000s-2010s rates went down dramatically
2020s rates got super low but look at end of the decade 6.40% , we’re not at the end of the decade yet that’s what the current rates are looking like right now…
If you were going to buy a house right now that you were going to live in, would you buy now or wait? 🤔
Why would you buy now? 🔑
Why would you wait? ⏰
A realtor back in the 80s said,” If the rates went down to 12% I would never complain again!”
A buyer today said,”If we can get the rates at least to 5% I would consider buying!”
Do you think we will ever see 2.6% rates again?
Answer: Every real estate class that has taken this class in the past 4 years have all said NO. And that they hope we never see 18% rates ever again either! 😳 Let that sink in…. These are classes with hundreds of real estate professionals…. 👀 🍿 Yikes!
