NEW EPISODE 🎙️

What happens when a man loses everything — including his sense of who he is?

Joshua Tomeoni sat down with me to share his story of rebuilding after divorce. Not just rebuilding his life — rebuilding his entire identity.

We talked about:
→ Why society's view of masculinity is broken
→ Why the "level up" culture leaves men feeling emptier than before
→ Why therapy alone often isn't enough
→ What actually works for men in transition
→ How language and narratives are used to divide us

Joshua wrote a workbook for men going through the hardest chapter of their lives. It's not motivational fluff. It's the real work.

I don’t usually stop mid-conversation and say, “This needs to be shared.”

But that’s exactly what happened when I spoke with Zulfiya Forsythe

She came into Dan’s coaching program asking the questions most people are too scared to ask:

→ Is the price worth the promised transformation?
→ How do you learn from millionaires without copying their lifestyle?
→ What if you want success and time with your family?

She wasn’t there to be impressed.

She was there to grow.

We ended up in a deep dive on affordable housing.

She wanted the truth. Not the headlines.

I walked her through how we uplift communities without displacing people.

→ Government subsidies
→ Section 8 vs public housing
→ The reality of financing redevelopment

Then she flipped it.

Started dropping gold about automation, HVAC, and why most property managers are drowning in admin work.

She used to be in accounting.

Now she’s in tech.

Her question: "How do I stop trading time for money, forever?

She’s using AI not to replace people…
…but to make teams faster, sharper, more efficient.

→ Better customer experience
→ Faster conversions
→ Less burnout

What stood out the most?

She’s not chasing a dream.

She’s building a system.

That’s the difference.

Zulfiya is the kind of operator who makes you think bigger, without the fluff.

I didn’t expect a conversation about capitalism to get emotional.

But then Amanda told me what happened in Uganda.

She sat with women who built businesses from $60 microloans.

No corporate backing.
No safety nets.
Just grit.

She told me: “It wasn’t charity. It was power.”

And that changed everything for her.

She came back from that trip and started rethinking how she helped her clients invest.

Now it’s not just about ROI.
It’s about alignment.
Values.
Legacy.

Amanda is proof that capitalism doesn’t have to be extractive.

It can be a tool for real, sustainable change, when used intentionally.

If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to build wealth AND make an impact…
You need to hear her story.

This is the kind of conversation that reminds you:
We’re not just playing with numbers.
We’re building futures.

And it starts with one choice to say yes.

Listen to the episode: https://youtu.be/jb0_xu8_g_8

You’ll get why I haven’t stopped thinking about it.

In this episode, Amanda takes us from Wall Street to Uganda revealing how philanthropy, micro-finance, and people-first investing reshaped her entire approac...

Retirement shouldn’t feel like punishment.

But for too many people…
It does.

I recently spoke with Steve Selengut—investment manager, author, and the mind behind The Income Coach.

And what he shared shook me:

Most financial advice ignores one thing:
INCOME.

Not theoretical portfolio growth.
Not charts or projections.
Real, spendable, monthly income.

He built his philosophy around cash flow first using high-yield securities and closed-end funds to help people live now (not just later).

And then Steve said something I won’t forget:
“You’ve hit the freedom point when your passive income covers your life.”

That one line changed how I see everything.

We also talked about:
– Why the industry is obsessed with AUM (and how it fails retirees)
– How schools still don’t teach basic financial literacy
– And the brutal truth: many retirees will need to keep working…
…not because they want to, but because they have to.

Steve’s mission?

Help people reclaim their future.
Not through flashy stock picks.
But through income you can count on.

Retirement shouldn’t be a struggle. It should be a reward.

Drop a “💸” in the comments if you’ve ever worried about your retirement income.

Most real estate investors are making one huge mistake:

They’re chasing capital.

Dave Dubeau doesn’t do that.

He built a system where capital comes to him.

After moving from Costa Rica back to Canada, he closed 18 real estate deals in 18 months.

Then he did something smarter:

He stopped being just an operator and became a marketer.

Here’s how he did it:

🎙️ Started a podcast
🤝 Interviewed 10–12 people a week
🔍 Ended each chat with a discovery call
📚 Followed up with educational content
🎯 Built a VIP investor list — only for warm leads

Most people screw this up by:

→ Pitching too soon
→ Not following up
→ Sending boring, one-size-fits-all emails

Dave’s advice was simple:

Start by asking your investor what they’re already doing.
Get curious about their results.
Then shut up and listen.
Keep showing up with content, calls, and conversations.

No pressure. No hype. Just real trust, built over time.

And when the deal is right, the investor is already in.

That’s how you scale capital the smart way.

Let the amateurs chase.

Let the professionals attract.

Most people don’t invest because they’re lazy.

They don’t invest because they were never allowed to.

When figuring out rent, the stock market might as well be Mars.

That’s why I teamed up with Sean Tepper to record a podcast that’s going to shake some tables.

Sean created Tykr, a tool that makes stock investing as simple as a traffic light:
🟢 Green = good
🟡 Yellow = caution
đź”´ Red = risky

No Wall Street jargon.
No hidden fees.
No need to be a finance bro.

Meanwhile, I’ve been working directly with public housing authorities.

Building tech that helps families escape the poverty trap using AI to guide them toward wealth, one decision at a time.

We talked about:
→ Why investing is STILL gatekept
→ How Tykr helps first-time investors avoid costly mistakes
→ What happens when we give everyone access to financial tools, not just the top 10%

And yes, we’re talking about joining forces.

My app is coming soon.

And if we can plug Tykr into it as an affiliate partnership?

More families can start building wealth without having to “make it out” first.

This isn’t a nice-to-have.

This is the blueprint.

Let’s stop waiting for change and build it.

Drop a 🔥 in the comments if you’re ready to see real financial freedom become real for everyone.

Most people want the shortcut.

Charisse Walker took the hard road and still emerged victorious.

She joined me on the Disruptive Capitalists Podcast and dropped one of the most honest, raw, and inspiring conversations we’ve had yet.
→ Divorced
→ In debt
→ Raising special needs kids
→ Starting over in real estate

She didn’t let any of it stop her.

Charisse went all-in on herself.

She built her real estate business from the ground up, focusing on residential and multifamily deals in one of the country's hottest markets: Utah.

Homes are moving fast out there, but she knows how to spot the value and help sellers adjust their expectations.

Now she’s part of a major investment club, doing bigger deals with bigger returns.

She’s also helping others do the same through her book, workshops, and real talks about healing after trauma.
We even talked about a new co-GP fund and a big project in Las Vegas.

If you’ve ever felt like it was “too late” to start over, this episode will change your mind.

Go watch it. https://spotifycreators-web.app.link/e/ZpHqxZvKfXb
