Buying a home in San Diego when you live outside the U.S.? 🌎 → 🌴

Congratulations to my clients on their beautiful new second home in La Jolla! 🔑🏡

They first reached out to me through Instagram in January with a goal of owning a vacation home in San Diego. Over the next few months, we stayed connected, planned ahead, and put the right pieces in place before they were ready to buy.

I connected them with a lender experienced in foreign-national financing and coordinated with the right professionals so they could prepare everything needed to purchase here in the U.S.

When it was finally time to find the one, we had one day and nine homes.

And we found it. 🤍

We put together a strong offer, got it accepted, negotiated over $20,000 in seller credits, and the sellers included all of the furniture — making their new vacation home truly move-in ready.

Now they get to call beautiful La Jolla their second home. 🌊

La Paz fue pura magia: aguas cristalinas, arena blanca, paisajes volcánicos, atardeceres espectaculares y ese turquesa que todavía no supero. El calor estuvo fuerte, pero lo disfrutamos al máximo con muchos días de playita rica, snorkeling, vida marina y momentos que se quedan para siempre. Nos sentimos muy afortunados y bendecidos de haber vivido este viaje juntos. 🌊✨

This wasn’t just a purchase — it was a full-circle moment.

AJ, a military veteran born right here in San Diego, is officially back home with his family.

They reached out in January with a big goal: sell their home in Massachusetts and purchase in San Diego, with both timelines needing to line up.

Through the Compass network, we connected them with an incredible agent in Massachusetts, coordinated both transactions, and made the timing work.

They closed in Massachusetts, and just three days later, closed on their new San Diego home. 🙌

Even better? Their appraisal came in $40,000 over purchase price, and we negotiated termite work to be covered by the seller.
