📈 The Misconception of Low Sales due to High Interest Rates 🏠💰

There is a common misconception that high interest rates automatically lead to low sales in the real estate market. However, let's take a closer look at the sales volume in the Bay Area's four counties to dispel this notion.

As of summer 2023, the sales volume in these counties has surpassed 5 billion dollars, representing a 5% increase compared to the previous year. It is important to note that despite interest rates being approximately 2% higher than the previous year, the market remains quite active.

While it may not be as frenzied as the early months of 2022 when sales reached a staggering 7.5 billion dollars due to exceptionally low interest rates, the current market conditions indicate that the real estate sector is far from stagnant. In fact, it is recovering with higher prices.

Why people hate real estate agents?

I've seen people say they're worthless, that they're just Car salesmen out for a quick buck, and so on.

However, In reality they're building their business the way they want, while you're building somebody else's business. I was this way too when I was working a 9 to 5 job that I hated, i wanted to hate on everybody doing something, where they had control of their lives.

so if you are finding yourself hating on real estate agents, ask yourself what you're doing with your time to make your situation better; are you building your business or someone else's.
