This man has enough monitors to control air traffic across three continents, track the stock market, launch a satellite, and probably monitor the temperature of Jupiter… and yet somehow the one thing he cannot locate is the tiny white arrow that decides where his entire productivity goes.

Every programmer, trader, engineer, or office worker knows this moment. You have six screens open, twenty tabs running, dashboards blinking, graphs moving, alerts flashing… and suddenly your mouse moves but nothing happens. The cursor has vanished into the digital void.

Now the hunt begins. Eyes scanning every monitor like a security camera operator searching for a suspect. Is it hiding in the corner of screen three? Did it drift onto the vertical monitor? Is it stuck on the laptop screen you forgot was open behind everything?

You start shaking the mouse like it owes you money. You wiggle it left, right, up, down, hoping the cursor will magically reveal itself like a shy animal emerging from the bushes.

Meanwhile the coworker walking by assumes you are deep in complex analytics, carefully studying financial graphs across eight displays. In reality you are just sitting there thinking the most relatable sentence in modern office history: where the hell is the cursor.

Something big happened in the financial world this morning — and I think it matters for every wellness professional building something here in North County 🌊
Nasdaq just announced a partnership to build tokenization infrastructure for real estate.
Big things are happening in the financial world that directly affect how you can access real estate.
On January 19, 2026, the NYSE announced a 24/7 blockchain platform for tokenized securities — fractional ownership, instant settlement, stablecoin funding. Working with BNY and Citi. This isn’t a concept. It’s in regulatory approval now.
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink has called tokenization “the next generation of financial markets.” Their BUIDL fund just crossed $2 billion in tokenized assets — and they’ve named it a key investment theme for 2026.
Meanwhile, platforms like Lofty.ai and RealT are already doing this for real estate — fractional rental properties starting at $50, with daily income distributions sent directly to investors.

This is an incredible picture for so many reasons

Our neighbor captured this..
note palm tree movement of tree to the left and zoom in towards the beach/ wind is about 1/2 to 1/3 of what it was that morning before the tree went down..

The metal on the roof is what was loose and Jayson was wrestling before the tree fell (he was standing on the porch/ deck railing).

We estimated the tree was up to the phone pole (80 ft) and it actually was a little past

I’m talking to my landlord (and still wearing flip flops.. which have since gone missing )

This palm tree is actually snapped towards the south from branch rebound and broke the branch before it would have crushed the house

Fire truck is just hanging out at the stop sign.

Really a cool vantage point..

This was one of the wildest, most harrowing days of my life. I truly believe a miracle is why my husband is safe, of every inch of the day and how things played out, the timing by which I lingered outside while he was trying to fix something on the overhang above the porch.. standing by one minute long enough to see the earth start shaking as this tree came up and yell to warn my husband and my neighbor. .
This happened Christmas Eve and today has been one of the most incredible days with outpouring of support from our neighbors and community.
We still have a lot of unknowns to cross but for today, this Christmas, we simply get to live.
