The 2025 FCU Teacher Grant recipients were Hannah Gorham, Music Teacher at Robert Eagle Staff Middle School in Seattle, and Teresa Gilchrist, Ceramics Teacher at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona.

Both were selected for their dedication to their students and their ability to create meaningful experiences in the classroom despite limited resources. They are exactly who this grant was built for.

The 2026 FCU Teacher Grant is now open. We are awarding $500 to one outstanding educator in Seattle, Phoenix, Las Vegas, or San Diego before the new school year starts in August. The grant goes directly toward classroom supplies.

Students, parents, fellow teachers, and self-nominations are all welcome. Nominations close June 1, 2026.

Last weekend was special. One of the biggest challenges after retiring from the NFL is the loss of community. The conversations change, and you find yourself in a world of uncertainty. has created a space where relationships matter—helping guys connect, collaborate, and scale their businesses like never before.

Retirement opens your eyes to the gatekeeping in business. People hide information, and too many just want to take advantage of athletes. Learning how to navigate this new world and build the right team is crucial to keeping the wins coming.

Grateful for everyone who made last week possible. Had the chance to speak to over 200 athletes and show them what we’re building out here in Scottsdale.

Remember the objective, fellas: On the field, we compete. Off the field, let’s collaborate, network, and create opportunities instead of gatekeeping.

🐬Miami has always held a special place in my heart. It’s where I grew into a man, learned the business of the NFL, and discovered what it took to sustain a career in the league. With Miami being my second home, it’s only fitting that First Chance U gives back to the greater Miami area.
