Before John Wayne passed away! Most of you know John Wayne as an actor.You may not know what happened to him before he died. This is that story!
Robert Schuller’s teenage daughter, Cindy, was in a motorcycle accident and had to have her leg amputated. John Wayne is a big fan of Robert Schuller. He heard Dr. Schuller say on one of his programs that his daughter had been in an accident and had to have her leg amputated.

John Wayne wrote a note to her saying: Dear Cindy, sorry to hear about your accident. Hope you will be all right. Signed, John Wayne. The note was delivered to her and she decided she wanted to write John Wayne a note in reply.

She wrote: Dear Mr. Wayne, I got your note. Thanks for writing to me. I like you very much. I am going to be all right because Jesus is going to help me. Mr. Wayne, do you know Jesus? I sure hope you know Jesus, Mr. Wayne, because I cannot imagine heaven being complete without John Wayne being there. I hope, if you don’t know Jesus, that you will give your heart to Jesus right now. See you in heaven. And she signed her name.

She had just put that letter in an envelope, sealed it, and written across the front of it “John Wayne” when a visitor came into her room to see her. He said to her: What are you doing? She said: I just wrote a letter to John Wayne, but I don’t know how to get it to him. He said: That’s funny, I am going to have dinner with John Wayne tonight at the Newport Club down at Newport Beach. Give it to me and I will give it to him. She gave him the letter and he put it in his coat pocket. There were twelve of them that night sitting around the table for dinner. They were laughing and cutting up and the guy happened to reach in his pocket and felt that letter and
remembered.

John Wayne was seated at the end of the table and the guy took the letter out and said: Hey, Duke, I was in Schuller’s daughter’s room today and she wrote you a letter and wanted me to give it to you. Here it is.

They passed it down to John Wayne and he opened it. They kept on laughing and cutting up and someone happened to look down at John Wayne. He was crying. One of them said: Hey, Duke, what is the matter? He said (and can’t you hear him saying it?): I want to read you this letter. He read the letter.

Then he began to weep. He folded it, put it in his pocket, and he pointed to the man who delivered it to him and said: You go tell that little girl that right now, in this restaurant, right here, John Wayne gives his heart to Jesus Christ and I will see her in heaven. Three weeks later John Wayne died!

You never know how your witness to another will effect their eternity!

- He gave up most of the salaries of the costume designers and computer scientists who drew the special effects on "The Matrix" - deciding that their share of the film's budget was assessed short.
- He reduced his salary for the movie "The Devil's Advocate" to have enough money to invite Al Pacino.
- Almost at the same time his best friend passed away; His girlfriend lost a child and soon died in a car accident, and his sister suffered from leukemia.
Keanu didn't fail: he donated $5 million to the clinic that treated his sister, refused to be filmed (to be with her), and founded the Leukemia Foundation, donating significant amounts from each fee for the movie.
You may have been born a man, but stay a man..

THE CHEYENNE WARRIOR, RED BLANKET:
He holds a tomahawk. Some warriors favored the tomahawk, others the battle axe, and for some the war club; used to 'brain' the enemy. Apaches preferred the war club, it was hit and go, while a tomahawk could stall the mounted/dismounted warrior; getting embedded in the enemy, and would have to be pried loose occasionally.

When Comanche war parties began to assemble and travel in the months of August and September, the warriors moved along many trails under the vivid full moon. From the Llano Estacado over several hundred miles, the Comanches (Nummuhnuh) rode toward the Mexican states of Chihuahua and Durango.
Of those warriors on their way south riding upon the Great Comanche War Trail, one such description revealed the following:
"Magnificent horsemen as they were, a half-wild horse taken from some herd of mustangs, a bit with a rawhide rein for bridle, and a tanned sheep-skin or a patch of buffalo-hide for a stirrup less saddle. The long trip over thorny plains and through stony mountains, was to them a festive occasion. With a bow of Osage orangewood - bois d'arc - and arrows of the river reeds, or the 'vara dulce' slung over the shoulder in quivers of lynx-hides; carrying the lance of ash-wood shod with iron and resting across the saddle with the chimal, or shield, of the buffalo-hide, fringed with turkey feathers; and occasionally an old Spanish escopeta with a bell-shaped muzzle, much resembling the muzzle of a trombone - a gun which shot a slug of lead as large as a quail egg - slung under the lap of a rawhide case; with a Bowie knife from Texas, or a machete from Mexico, carried anywhere room could be made, these freebooters of the plains were ready to fight any foe."

Clint Eastwood is a famous American actor, film director, producer and composer, famous for his flourishing career in the entertainment industry. Born on May 31, 1930, in San Francisco, California, Eastwood rose to fame in the 1960s for his role as "The Man with No Name" in Sergio Leone's "The Dollar Trilogy" of spaghetti Westerns. He further solidified his status as a cultural icon with his role as Harry Callahan in the "Dirty Harry" film series, which began in 1971. Eastwood's career spanned more than six decades, during which he received won many awards, including multiple Oscars for best film. Director and Best Picture for "Unforgiven" (1992) and "Million Dollar Baby" (2004). Known for his stoic screen presence and tough personality, Eastwood has also directed and produced such critically acclaimed films as Mystic River (2003), Gran Torino (2008) and American Sniper (2014). In addition to his film work, Eastwood also dabbled in politics, serving as mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, from 1986 to 1988. His contributions to cinema and his influence on Popular culture has made him one of its most respected people. and long-standing figures in Hollywood history.

Rodney Arnold Grant (born March 9, 1959) is an American actor.

Rodney Arnold Grant, a Native American, was raised on the Omaha Reservation in Macy, Nebraska. He is probably most well known for his role as "Wind In His Hair" in the 1990 film Dances with Wolves. He has also appeared in other films such as John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars, Wild Wild West, Geronimo: An American Legend, White Wolves III: Cry of the White Wolf, Wagons East!, The Substitute, War Party, and Powwow Highway. In television, he played the part of "Chingachgook" in the series Hawkeye that aired in 1994-1995. He has also had guest roles in a television series such as Due South, Two, and the Stargate SG-1 episode "Spirits". He also portrayed the famous warrior Crazy Horse in the 1991 television movie Son of the Morning Star.

Rodney Arnold Grant is a member of the Omaha tribe of Nebraska. He has been very active in youth activities and had served on the Native American Advisory Board for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. He has five grown children, three from a previous marriage, and two from previous relationships. He currently resides in southern California.

Mr Grant illustrates a clash of cultures here at an awards ceremony, by appearing in both the customary evening attire and a traditional headdress. Blessed are those who know themselves, and remember where they came from.
