Picture yourself here in January....sun rises, it's 75 degrees out, sun is shining, birds are chirping, possibly a troop of white faced monkeys frolicking about near the cabin. You get your morning tea or coffee, sit out on the deck and contemplate your next move. Hammock time? Ocean view breakfast in town? A nice walk to the beach and beyond? Or perhaps you've decided on a snorkel trip to Tortuga Island? Or how about a chocolate tour at nearby Indigena Cafe? ATV tour? Oh wait, how about a trek to the Montezuma waterfalls where you can go swimming? There is always hiking in the Cabo Blanco Reserve. Or, if you want a lazy day, just hang out at nearby Playa Los Cedros, or go to nearby Calala Lodge where you can buy really tasty fish tacos and lounge by their beach side pool all day! The tidepools at nearby hotel de amor are great for floating. For dinner, how about sushi in the jungle treetops at Bejuko or an early gourmet dinner at Playa de los Artistas? So many excellent choices.

Needing a break from the political scene in the US? We have some openings this winter/spring. January 3-6th, January 14-28th, February 3 - 6th, 12th - 14th, and 23rd - 28th, March 1st - 7th, 11th - 27th, and all of April is available, with a 3 night minimum. Wake up to the sounds of howler monkeys and birds. Take long walks, eat good food, take lots of naps in one of the hammocks, and if it's adventure you crave, there is lots of that to be had in the area!
