We are thrilled to announce that David Howell, the Owner of Action Home Inspection secured 3rd place at today’s Gumbo Contest, benefiting the Destin History & Fishing Museum! This annual event celebrates our community’s rich heritage and supports the preservation of Destin’s unique history.

Our family’s connection to Destin’s culinary past runs deep. In 1961, we opened LaFountain’s Wharf, serving fresh seafood in a casual waterfront setting. Later, we established the Green Knight Lounge, a beloved local landmark known for its iconic green knight statue.

Participating in this event was a wonderful way to honor our family’s legacy and contribute to the community’s ongoing efforts to preserve Destin’s storied past. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Destin History & Fishing Museum for hosting this fantastic event and to everyone who came out to support it.

Here’s to celebrating our shared history and looking forward to many more community gatherings!
