One of the most dangerous things in life is becoming successful while slowly losing yourself at the same time. Some people have money but no peace. Some have influence but no integrity. Some are surrounded by people but still feel alone. Some built businesses while their soul quietly broke behind the scenes. That is why I write.
I write because too many people are dying emotionally while pretending to be strong publicly. Too many leaders are bleeding silently. Too many families are surviving but never healing. Too many people confuse being needed with being valued. Life taught me that everybody celebrating you is not for you.
Everybody connected to you is not assigned to you. And if you never develop standards, people will drain your loyalty, your peace, your finances, your emotions, and your purpose.
My books come from pressure.
From ministry.
From leadership.
From mistakes.
From watching people destroy themselves chasing things that could never heal them.
I did not write these books from theory.
I wrote them from scars.
I want people to think deeper.
Live wiser.
Heal correctly.
Build differently.
And stop sacrificing their future trying to save people committed to dysfunction. At some point you have to ask yourself:
How much of your life have you spent carrying people that were never carrying you? That question alone can change your entire future.

Some of the greatest blessings God will ever place on your life will come from the moments you chose to help somebody else while you were still struggling yourself. Anybody can help people when they are overflowing.
But it takes a real heart to bless somebody when you know pain, pressure, disappointment, and hardship personally.
Sometimes we pray for miracles while passing by people God sent us to be a miracle to.

Today was truly a blessing.
There is something powerful about being surrounded by family, laughter, memories, food, conversations, and love. Days like this remind us that life is not just about working, building, and chasing goals. It is also about appreciating the people God placed in our lives. Family is one of Heaven’s greatest gifts.
In a world filled with stress, division, and busy schedules, moments together become precious. The smiles, the stories, the hugs, and even the simple conversations create memories that last a lifetime. Thank You Lord for allowing us another day to gather, love one another, and enjoy the blessing of family. Some people wanted a day like this and could not have it, so we never take these moments for granted.
Cherish your family.
Love hard.
Forgive quickly.
Laugh often.
And thank God for every moment you still have together.
What an amazing day it has been.

Wake up
They are building around you
But not always for you
New developments go up
Streets get cleaned
Properties get flipped
Values start rising
And on the surface it looks like progress
But behind the scenes
Taxes are going up
Assessments are climbing
And the same people who held it down
Are slowly being priced out
That’s not by accident
That’s strategy
They invest money in
Drive the value up
Then pull their money out
And leave you holding the higher cost
And if you’re not positioned right
You become the one funding someone else’s wealth again
Let me say it plain
If you don’t own in your own community
You will eventually be pushed out of your own community
This is not just about houses
This is about control
This is about legacy
This is about who benefits when the neighborhood grows
Because growth without ownership
Is displacement in slow motion
First time buyers are struggling
Not because opportunity isn’t there
But because they waited while others moved
And now the price of entry is higher
But here’s the truth
It’s not too late
But it is later than you think
You don’t fight rising taxes by complaining
You fight it by owning something that rises with it
You don’t stop development
You position yourself to benefit from it
Because whether you move or not
The market is moving
So the question is
Will you be the one paying more every year
Or the one getting paid every month
Wake up
Pay attention
And make a move before the door closes on your own neighborhood

Pastoring is not easy
It is not a title
It is a calling with weight
A calling with responsibility

There are days you pour and nobody sees it
Days you carry people in prayer while carrying your own battles in silence
Days you have to stand strong for others while fighting just to stay encouraged yourself

And then I hear the words of Jesus in Luke 22:31
“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat”

That lets me know something powerful

If the enemy asked for Peter
He will come after pastors

He does not fight what is weak
He fights what is called

He does not attack what is empty
He attacks what carries purpose

But I thank God Jesus did not stop there

In Luke 22:32 He said
“But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not”

And that is the strength of a pastor

Not that we don’t go through
Not that we don’t feel the pressure
But that even in the sifting

Our faith does not fail

So to every pastor reading this

Keep preaching
Keep praying
Keep standing
Keep believing

Because the same Jesus that saw Peter through the sifting

Is the same Jesus covering you right now

And when this season is over

You will not be broken
You will be better

And you will strengthen your brothers

Pastoring is not easy

But it is worth it

Because God trusted you with His people

GOOD MORNING

People will use you
As long as you let them

Not because you are weak
But because you are kind

Not because you lack wisdom
But because you have a heart to help

But hear me

Kindness without boundaries becomes exploitation

Some people will keep taking
As long as you keep giving

They will smile
They will appreciate you in the moment
They will say all the right things

But they will not change
They will not grow
They will not take responsibility

And if you are not careful
You will end up drained
Frustrated
And wondering why

Let me help you this morning

You can love people
Without losing yourself

You can help people
Without hurting yourself

You can give
Without being used

At some point you have to grow into this truth

No is not rejection
No is protection

You are not called to carry everything
You are called to be wise with what God gave you

So today

Set boundaries
Stand firm
And stop explaining yourself to people
Who benefit from your lack of limits

The right people will respect your boundaries
The wrong people will resist them

That will tell you everything you need to know

Good morning.

Wake up for real and hear this with love.

You are not crazy.
You are not weak.
You just been loving hard and giving to the wrong places too long.

And that will wear anybody out.

But today is not about beating yourself up.
Today is about getting your strength back.

Listen.

You got a good heart.
That is not the problem.

The problem is you been giving that good heart to people who do not know how to handle it.

You been showing up.
They been slacking.
You been fixing it.
They been breaking it again.

And you kept saying
It is alright I got it.

But deep down you tired.

So today we shift.

You can still love people
and stop letting them play with you.

You can still care
and stop overdoing it.

You can still help
and stop carrying grown people on your back.

That is not you changing
that is you leveling up.

And hear me clear.

Just because you always been there
does not mean you have to keep being there like that.

You are allowed to switch it up.

You are allowed to say
Not this time.

You are allowed to protect your peace
because it matters.

And listen

You are not losing people.
You are finally choosing yourself too.

That is not selfish.
That is healing.
That is growth.

That is you realizing your time your energy your life all matter.

So today do not go back to the same patterns.

Do not pick up what God been trying to get you to put down.

Walk different today.
Talk different today.
Move different today.

And if somebody does not like the new you

That is alright.

Because the new you is stronger.
The new you has boundaries.
The new you has peace.

And the new you is not bleeding anymore just to prove loyalty.

Now you building.
Now you protecting.
Now you growing.

So lift your head.

You are still blessed.
You are still covered.
And you are still moving forward.

Today is your day to get your power back.

And you are not going backwards.
