Data centers are showing up in more communities, and naturally, homeowners and buyers want to know what that could mean for nearby houses.

One of the biggest concerns that comes up is home values. But research from HousingWire found that areas with large data centers generally saw home values track similarly to comparable areas without them.

That doesn't mean proximity never matters. Noise, infrastructure, future development, and potential utility costs are all worth considering.

But a data center nearby isn't automatically bad news for your home's value.

I arrived around 7:30 AM when it was almost empty… and then the regulars started coming in. Before long, everybody seemed to know everybody — except me. 😂 But Terry, Misty and everyone there made me feel so welcome.
Fresh biscuits, a great menu, that wonderful neighborhood feeling… and then came the homemade corned beef. 😋

The hunt continues! 😂 This time I stopped at Peach’s Restaurant in Venice to see what their corned beef hash had to offer.
But remember — this hunt isn't only about corned beef. I also want to show you the restaurants themselves, what else is on the menu, and some of the local places that make living around Sarasota County so much fun.
Peach’s has plenty of breakfast and lunch choices, daily specials, and of course…the reason I came: corned beef hash. 🥩🍳
And yes, when those eggs arrived, I absolutely had to break that yolk right into it. 😂
