Not every space needs a dramatic overhaul

Sometimes, the biggest improvements come from a few thoughtful tweaks

This kitchen is a perfect example, they simply needed better systems, more intentional zones, and easier access to the things they use every day

A few small changes can make a huge difference:
✨ Moving frequently used items closer to where they're needed
✨ Creating clear categories
✨ Eliminating duplicate or unnecessary items
✨ Making storage work with your habits instead of against them

The result? A kitchen that feels calmer, functions better, and saves time every single day

Organization isn't always about changing everything. Sometimes it's about making what you already have work better

.international systems are great to enhance a closet. But if you don't actually create systems, they still just become a dumping ground

But now after some decluttering and reallocating, this closet is functional and works much better for this family of 4 day to day

This client unexpectedly found out her work visa wasn’t being renewed. Overnight, she learned she would not be returning to the states and had to fully move out of her apartment by the end of May

What started as “packing” quickly became:
• sorting through an entire apartment on a deadline
• coordinating international shipping logistics
• managing movers, paperwork, and timelines
• deciding what could come, what had to stay, and what needed to be donated
• helping someone process a major life transition while exhausted and overwhelmed

This is the side of professional organizing people don’t always see

Sometimes our job is creating calm in the middle of chaos

Sometimes it’s stepping in when someone physically or emotionally can’t manage it alone

And sometimes organization becomes less about stuff and more about helping someone land softly during a hard season of life

By the end, everything was packed, shipped, handled, and her apartment is fully clear pre deadline

But more importantly, she didn’t have to carry the weight of it all by herself

You can imagine my shock when I was listening to my favorite true crime podcast when none other than OGs Karen Kilgariff & read my email submission 😭🔪🫨☠️🤯🔪

While it was very cool to hear them talk about Haven, I did want to make sure that the most important part of the email was highlighted ➡️

"I've felt wrecked by the thought of the combination of deep sadness and relief for the families of the victims as the news of his arrest has come out.

Friends and family keep asking if I ever suspected anything, ever felt threatened or weird around him. 

Whenever I hear stories of serial killers who operate in plain sight, I always think, HOW could no one in his life know!?  There must be something off people are ignoring.

But the thing is, I didn't feel threatened.  I didn't notice anything off.  Because these men are psychopaths that perfect living double lives.

But he's also no mastermind, he's just a coward who targeted s*x workers as he deemed these women "less than."

But these victims were not less than;

Amber Costello
Melissa Barthelemy
Jessica Taylor
Valerie Mack
Sandra Costilla
Karen Vergata

were daughters, sisters, nieces, Aunts, Moms and friends.  They didn't deserve to be senselessly murdered and heinously discarded.

I hope he receives the maximum punishment for robbing these women of their lives and their families of their peace."

Organizing a tween’s room isn’t about creating a perfectly clean Pinterest bedroom that stays spotless forever

It’s about teaching lifelong skills

Because the real win is not perfection. It’s helping them learn:
• how to categorize their belongings
• how to know what they have
• where things belong
• how to reset a messy space
• how to put things away

Will the room stay perfect? That's a new from me dog 😅

There will still be hoodies on the floor and random cups on the nightstand. That’s normal

Tweens are learning systems for the first time. Every cleanup session is helping build habits they’ll use for the rest of their lives

The goal is functional, not flawless

An organized tween room isn’t about raising a perfect kid

It’s about raising a capable adult. ✨

Let's talk about the most cluttered space in your home.

No, not the junk drawer.

Not the coat closet.

It's your phone.

Your digital life is basically a junk drawer with Wi-Fi. And May is the perfect time to clean it up, because nothing says "fresh start" like finally deleting the screenshot of a candle you considered buying in 2021.

Digital organization is real organization. And it matters more than we think.

Because when your phone is overflowing, your brain kind of is too.
