This bank was difficult to maintain and began sliding down and filled the existing ditch and blocked a culvert. Water still needed to move but the customer wanted to be able to maintain it easily. We decided to cut the bank back, keeping in mind the existing water supply to the house and existing culverts at both ends of the ditch. 100’ of 12” double wall culvert and some ingenuity and this one turned out great and will be able to be mowed with a riding mower. Driveway refresh in Austin, removed the grass and laid down some fresh rock on this one in the heat. This customer also had a ditch issue he wanted to get corrected but after some discussion I suggested he talk to the city to correct a couple issues that were theirs first which they will be correcting saving the customer money. Site prep for a friend of a friend in Deputy! The customer had sticker shock from some other quotes, so we showed up and gave a fair price for a top-quality job. We laid out the dig based on an existing septic system to meet code and best building practices. The old corn crib foundation and several trees were removed, the dig was staked out, and we got it done! We even had a little extra time on the last day for a quick driveway tune-up at no additional charge.

Finished this one up in Austin before the rain! This customer wanted a smooth ride to their new home so we knocked out the potholes with the rake-n-ator, graded everything to shed water and installed some rip rap around the existing culvert. Made a follow up trip after the rain and everything held up great.
