Here are five tips to brighten up your home:

1️⃣ Remove your window coverings in the main spaces where you don't need that privacy or put in a gauzy type curtain or drape. Always nice, beautiful, and minimal. 🪟

2️⃣ If you have trees, trim them. When those trees are blocking the sun, no sun is getting in. I have to tell ya, I just got a quote from my landscaper to trim my trees and holy smokes. It's a lot, but I think it's going to be well worth it, and it's going to bring more light to my home. 🌳💡

3️⃣ Reduce the size of your furniture or reduce how much furniture you have in a room. It takes up a lot of room, and it absorbs light. Just think of it this way, black absorbs light. So if you have dark-colored furniture, it's sucking the light out of the room and making it darker than it actually is. 🛋️🌑

4️⃣ Paint! Paint is a great option for anybody and freshens a room overnight. Literally overnight, when the painter comes and when the painter leaves. White paint, or light paint, brightens up a room in such a way that it really feels great. 🎨✨

5️⃣ Add a mirror. 🪞 When light hits that mirror, it reflects it, and it ends up being double. Enjoy that!
