If you were asked a question what do you feel like you struggle with daily? What would you say? Would you be honest?

Well if you tell me yours I’ll tell you mine...

I struggle hard with Anticipation...I want to get things done now all the time and it doesn’t matter what it is.

🔺You want to talk? okay now!

🔺Oh you want to have a serious talk? Definitely do it now!

🔺You want to put up Christmas decorations? Okay hang them now!

🔺You want to find your dream home? Okay let’s look now! 🏡

Once you tell me you want something done or you have a goal I have already started to think in my head how WE are going to achieve it.

Trust me I know this quality can be annoying in someone...I should know...my husband has this quality too.


The thing that people don’t tell you is that there is beauty in the anticipation before you get to a goal, experience, or event. Soak up the beautiful moments that happen during the process not just the end.

▫️Soak up the moment before you get married, like picking out your cake together. 🍰

▫️Soak up the months of hard work you put in at the gym before a show. 🏋️‍♀️

▫️Soak up the home buying process before you finally close on a home. 🏠

The point is to soak up the moments of anticipation you find in between, you will get more satisfaction when a moment happens because you spend the time present in the process. The older I get the easier it gets for me to understand this but it’s still something I struggle on the daily and have to work at.
