Before senior year, there were so many firsts… but one thing I’ll never forget is that little girl who cried every single morning going to school until 4th grade. My heart broke leaving her, and I wondered if she’d ever truly love school. Fast forward to today… it’s the first day of her senior year, and she’s walking in as Senior Class President. What an incredible reminder that growth doesn’t happen overnight. The little girl who once struggled to walk through the school doors has grown into a confident, compassionate leader. We couldn’t be more proud of the young woman you’ve become—not just because of your accomplishments, but because of your kindness, determination, resilience, and the way you lead by example.

Senior year Sadie, soak up every moment. We know you’re going to make it unforgettable, and we can’t wait to cheer you on through every milestone. The best is still ahead.

Happy 17th Birthday to the girl who completed our family. ❤️ Seventeen years ago, after spending 62 long days in the hospital praying, hoping, and believing, you finally came into this world and showed us what true strength looks like. At just 6 months old, you faced open-heart surgery with a courage that most people will never have to find in a lifetime. From the very beginning, you’ve been a fighter, and you’ve continued to show that strength every day since. Watching you grow into the remarkable young woman you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. You are kind, compassionate, determined, and resilient. Seeing you become your senior class president and now begin applying to colleges fills us with more pride than words can express. Your hard work, leadership, and perseverance are opening doors to an incredible future, and we know this is only the beginning. Through every challenge and every triumph, you’ve faced life with grace and courage. You inspire us more than you’ll ever know, and we are so grateful to be your parents.
