This month marks 20 years since I relocated from California to Arizona. 🌵
At 25 years old, with a 3-year-old daughter, I was looking for something many young families are still looking for today: the opportunity to own a home and build a better future.
As much as I loved California, homeownership felt out of reach. When my then husband and I came to visit Arizona, I immediately fell in love with it. I was mesmerized by the wide open landscape, the clean freeways, and the sense of opportunity that seemed to be everywhere.
I wasn’t a Realtor yet, and I had very few connections here. No established network, no roadmap, and no idea what the next 20 years would hold. What I did know was that Arizona had so much to offer, and that this felt like a place where we could build a life.
Within a year and a half of moving here, I earned my real estate license. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of families buy their first home, second home and even investment properties. Helping people relocate here has always held a special place in my heart because I’ve been in their shoes. I know how exciting, overwhelming, and life changing that move can be.
Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities this beautiful state has provided, the career I’ve built, the relationships I’ve made, the families I’ve helped, and all the lessons that came with the highs and lows along the way. 🫶🏻
Arizona has truly become home. 🏡
Cheers to 20 years… and to whatever the next chapter brings. 🥂 ❤️
