East Tennessee is coming together to celebrate the life and legacy of its hometown queen. ❤️

“What Dolly Did for Me: A Parade for Our Queen” will take place Friday, September 4 in downtown Knoxville, with the parade beginning at 7 PM.

These photos from Dolly’s statue in Sevierville were shared with us by our recent Stay Kozy guests. Seeing the flowers, tributes, and people gathering to remember her says so much about what Dolly has meant to East Tennessee.

Our Stay Kozy guests were in downtown Sevierville this morning and sent us these photos from Dolly’s statue. 🤍

Flowers, balloons, and people are gathering in her hometown to remember a woman whose influence reached around the world, yet whose heart and roots remained here in the Smoky Mountains.

Dolly gave so much through her music, her generosity, her love for children, and her love for East Tennessee.

There will never be another Dolly.

Thank you for the music, the laughter, the kindness and the beautiful legacy you leave behind. 🤍

Dana and Meagan have been hard at work giving Stay Kozy Lookout a whole new look — one roller, sprayer and very tall ladder at a time. 😂
