There's so many things to do in this area from Dollywood, mountain coasters, mini golf, dinner shows, shopping and all the wonderful places to eat. Do not do yourself an injustice by not getting out into what makes this area so special..those beautiful smoky mountains. There's so many trails and waterfalls, hidden little treasures around to soak it all in. Stop by Metcalf Bottoms Picnic Pavilion enjoy the water and have a pic nic. There's so many little pull offs along the way to stop and admire God's beauty!

We had an eventful day enjoying Cades Cove. We saw more bears than we could count. We saw a Blue Heron enjoying a creek. A turkey that appeared to be laying on a nest. She wouldnt budge and people almost walking into her. We saw a beautiful woodpecker. We were able to sit and watch baby bears play along a fallen tree and hang and climb all over it, wrestle each other. Such a sweet sweet sight to experience. And I've never seen so many butterflies. That was such a magical moment.

We had lunch at The Abbey in Townsend! Phenomenal!! From the moment we walked in until we left, we were treated fantastic. The staff was very friendly. The grounds were beautiful! The food was great! The chicken tacos was a special for the day, and came with corn pico & feta cheese but my friend ordered hers without those. She said it was very good. My ham & cheese crossaint was delish! Omigosh....do yourself a favor and get the key lime pie!!
